National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is an Indian board through which students appear for their Grade 12 board exams. Preparation for this is done through the mandatory courses and the major.
English and Math courses include SAT preparation.
Students must pick electives across all three categories, including Advanced Placements (APs).
Seminar Courses build up from Critical Thinking and Dialogue. They involve a high degree of research, personalised learning, and culminate in a capstone project. These are yearlong courses available in both the Junior and Senior years.
